The UK Government has pledged to significantly lower carbon emissions, so to assist the homes and businesses switch to low carbon heating systems the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) has been set up.
The scheme is available to domestic and small commercial properties in England and Wales. You could get up to £7,500 towards installation costs.

Small businesses can often receive help with the costs of installing heat pumps as part of the government drive to lower emissions.

Grants For Homes
Currently, there are government incentives to help with the cost of installing an air source heat pump for homes across London. You can apply for a grant of up to £7,500 and VAT on renewable installations. The new Boiler Upgrade Scheme replaces legacy incentives such as Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) and Green Homes Grant Scheme (GHGS) .
Since 2014, the British Government has been incentivising the installation of renewable heating.The Boiler Upgrade Scheme being available from April 2022 and is available for a limited period.
